Party City is a party supply superstore prevalent in the US and Canada. Its out of town edifices promise everything you could want to host bowling alley birthdays and banquets held in stale Lazer Quest foyers.

Over a series of six frames of 35mm, Travin Sytems and Charles Swain invite you join a differnt sort of on revel; one that toasts cans of Special Brew to makeshift shelters, canes Jellies in the midst of featureless concrete expanses and generally peers round t'back of the overwhelming range of consumer choice and how its presentation is so dissonance with its local environment,

Don't get me wrong....some of my best birthdays were at Chesterfield Bowl.
